I never had one of those "changing bags", and always had to find a dark closet in which to change the film. Remember twisting the knob to advance the film, watching for the frame number to appear in the little red window?

I have one of these Twin Lens Reflex cameras- a Yashica Mat EM, right now, and it still works and looks as good as new.
