I grew up with black and white TV's. When I was really little, my parents had an RCA 25" black and white TV. It was more like a piece of furniture. Later, we had two 19" Zenith black and whites. We didn't have a color TV until 1981, when the Sony Trinitrons became popular. I clearly remember waiting for the picture tube to warm up, and those vertical and horizontal hold knobs.
