In the late 80's - early 90's in Idaho, I saw him working for some "rag-tag" circus. So sad to see.

Tiny Tim was really an expert in period music, both in knowledge and ability to imitate. Think the Simpson's "Comic Book Guy."

Incidentally, I knew a cousin of TT's and heard some stories. What we saw was the real personality, it wasn't shtick!

This was played up for laughs by Tiny Tim, but this tune was a huge hit in 1929 for a guitarist named Nick Lucas in 1929. Recorded with just guitar and soft, sweet, clear vocal, it was #1 for 10 weeks. Oh, and I have the mp3. :)

I was born in 1955, but my fave music goes from the Ragtime Era through the Swing Era
