About 2001: A Space Odyssey... None of those companies survived.

I have a picture of an early Pan-Am flight - a Ford tri-motor in the 1920s....It was a mail flight to Cuba.

Everyone remembers the Pam Am "Space Clipper" featured in "2001: A Space Odyssey", but did you know that during the '60s Pan Am actually maintained a waiting list of people who wanted to fly to the moon? I guess Pan Am figured that this would be a commercial service they would offer someday. I wonder what became of that list.
